These hand finished boards feature chamfered edges and the bevelled aperture hole can be used for hanging the boards or as a thumb hole.
Perfect for charcuterie, cheese or as a chopping board, they are finished with food-safe oil.
The boards measure 175mm (7inches) wide, 450mm (17.75 inches) long, 25mm (1inch) thick.
Grain, knots and tone will vary from board to board.
SIZING
As a guide, I usually leave two inches at each end, then space the pegs at 4 inch intervals.
So a 3 peg rail would be 12 inches long, 4 pegs 16 inches, 5 pegs 20 inches (multiply the number of pegs by 4 to give you the total length)
The length of the pegs are 2.8 inches (75mm) from the front face of the board, but can be made longer or shorter by request.
