Peg Rails

If I don’t have a fixed length in mind what length is the peg rail?

It depends on the number of pegs - multiply the number of pegs you want by four, to give you the total length in inches.

Do fixings come with the peg rail?

Yes.  

Are the pegs heavy enough for coats and bags?

Yes.  Clients have used my peg rails to lean surf boards onto, hang garden tools, saucepans, coats, boots and bags. 

Do you offer staining? 

All of my peg rails come treated with a clear wax to showcase the natural beauty of the wood and grain,  If you would prefer to stain, vanish or paint your peg rail, I can supply it unwaxed.  

Signs

Do you offer fixings? 

Yes, upon request.  I will advise and supply fixings depending on what type of wall your are mounting the signs to.

Do you offer staining or painting?

I prefer to send my signs unstained to let the natural beauty of the wood and grain to be admired for many years.  Staining or varnishing only requires re-applying and maintenance over the years. I treat all my carved oak signs with a colourless wood preserve, allowing them to weather and silver naturally over time.

Do you offer finger posts or stands? 

Yes, upon request.  I will price up the extra cost of timber and labour.
