These perfectly formed oak tea light holders are made from the same lengths that I make my peg rails from.
I try to waste as little as possible in my workshop, so each and every off-cut is put aside to be made into something, rather than for firewood.
These tea light holders will comfortably house a standard 38mm (1.5 inch) diameter tea light and have been throughly tested for safety.
The squares are 95mm (3.7 inch) wide and are 20mm (.7 inch) thick, finished in a light, clear wax.

SIZING
As a guide, I usually leave two inches at each end, then space the pegs at 4 inch intervals.
So a 3 peg rail would be 12 inches long, 4 pegs 16 inches, 5 pegs 20 inches (multiply the number of pegs by 4 to give you the total length)
The length of the pegs are 2.8 inches (75mm) from the front face of the board, but can be made longer or shorter by request.
